MABLETHORPE BIKERS

Dispite the rainy weather on the Motorcycle festival, it didnt dampen most peoples spirits. We got absolutely soaked but hey it was worth it. We had a fantastic stunt display from Lee Bowers and his friends, the rain didnt put them off and wowed the crowds, who also braved the elements, amazing how a brolley makes the differece!. HM Plant Honda had a striking display of three top motorcycles and apperances of super bike riders Ryoichi Kyonari and Glen Richards signing autographs. The BSB tickets, (which was donated by Neil Tuxworth, the Chairman of the Sandracing and Manager of HM Plant Honda), was won by a local young man and his girlfriend. The traders and displays added much interest on Jacksons car park. Mablethorpe came alive and we felt very proud that we created such a good event from a suggestion. To round off the day we had the raffle draw which was held at Sharkys bar and a fantastic band from Grimsby `Decoy` rocked us through the evening. We raised £1.200.00 for the Air Ambulance. Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored and gave there time and help and support. Heres to next year. Saturday March 19th 2011.
